Arcade – Newest Location in Toca Life World

Toca Life World is all about creating and building your universe with your original story and people. It’s had various great updates that kept making the game better each month. And now, the new location is not a town or a country but rather, somewhere small in the commercial section of the city: the Arcade! Every kid loves to go to the arcade, and what better way to experience a new kind of story than a slice of life arc where you and your characters get to play with old and new games in the machines.

Toca Life World Arcade

Explore the Goodness in the Arcade

The Arcade may be a small addition to the game but what it has to offer are tons of new mini-games along with new sets of outfits for you to enjoy. The Arcade has over 10 games to choose from: rhythm, kung-fu, shooting, basketball, crane, zombies, sword fighting, skeeball, whack-a-mole, and racing. The best part is, you can play each of these games for free. No need to unlock anything; as long as you are in the arcade, you can test out whichever mini-game catches your eyes.

Also, the Arcade just looks very cool. It has a mix of nostalgia from the late 90s to the early 2000s, along with some modern style arcade machines. You can add as many characters as you want inside the store. Plus, each arcade cabinet has its animations too. Feel free to try all of them and see what happens when they all play at the same time!

Additionally, the arcade games will also provide coins. If you beat the high scores, you will be handsomely rewarded with coins to spend on your toca props and outfits. Best of all, this is not a limited event; it is a location that will permanently stay in the game.

Newest Outfits

Expect new clothes and the coolest attires to enter your wardrobe in Toca Life Worl. But to get them, you will need to earn them through the gacha. The new theme is based on the 80s and 90s golden era of arcade games. These include baggy hoodies complete with polka dots and stripes, rad neon shorts, shutter glasses, and old-school haircuts. Gacha rates for these will be at a maximum of 7%. Just don’t forget to save some more gacha coins for stuff that you want.

The arcade-style outfits will remain in the up rate banner for the whole month of January until the 21st of February 2021.

Toca Life World New Update

How is Toca Life World Doing

Right now, Toca Life World is doing alright with the young player demographic. It is quite hard to pinpoint whether they are toe to toe with its competition, Gacha Life. However, what we do know is that there have been over 2 million downloads since its major overhaul from last year.

Moreover, the community is quite active as usual. Most players are even showing off their stories either through comics on social media or through videos on YouTube. The developers have not released any information on how much the game has earned since its release.

With the latest Arcade update, we are very certain that the game is going to have another sprouted increase in player’s activity once more.

How It’s Different From Gacha Life

If Gacha Life is anime role-playing, then Toca Life World is cartoon role-playing. As you can see from its style, Toca Life is a mix of “calarts style” and simplistic drawing, which are relevant to today’s generation of cartoons found in Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network.

While the features are heavily similar, there are some instances where it is unique over Gacha Life, including actual animations on certain objects and a much cleaner UI for ease of use for the player.

Arguably, Toca Life World has lower gacha rates than Gacha Life. Honestly, it all just depends on the player’s luck.

Why Players Stay with Toca Life World

Toca Life World is a great game to build up your storytelling and character building. With Toca Life, the world is yours to create. You can come up with original characters of your own, set in your own timeline of things to happen, and animate all of that with the game’s movie tools.
